Sean Astin was born on February 25, 1971. He was born and raised in Santa Monica, California, The United States.
He is an American by nationality and has his assumption in the Christian religion. Sean finished his schooling at Catholic School and later went to Crossroads High School for the Arts. Later he also studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory, Los Angeles.
However, Sean holds his B.A. in History and English (American literature and culture) from the University of California (UCLA), Los Angeles at Los Angeles Valley College. He later also assisted the Patrons Association and the Arts Council on the School’s Board of Directors.
