The Vancouver, Canada, police department put up a video of a 40-year-old woman holding her young child. It shows the shocking moment when they both fall down. The mother and her child were standing on East Pender near Gore Avenue when she fell and hit her head on the concrete, according to the police. A few cuts and scrapes were made on the child. Shakwan David Kelly, 27, was being chased by police because of something earlier. The police say that Kelly punched one car so hard that he dented one of the doors. When the man ran into their backs, he knocked the mom and the child to the ground. As shocked bystanders ran to help the woman and child who had been knocked down, Kelly, who was naked, kept running. The video of the incident has been posted to Twitter by the Vancouver police.

According to Castanet, Sergeant Steve Addison said, “This attack happened in a busy neighborhood, and about a dozen people saw it.” He said, “We’ve talked to a few witnesses, but we’re still gathering information. Kelly supposed to go to court on July 12, but he didn’t. Police didn’t find Kelly until July 21, which was a Thursday.
