Jhene Aiko was born on March 16, 1988, at Dr. Karamo Chilombo and Christine Yamamoto’s residence.
Her father is of African American ethnicity, while her mother is of Japanese-Spanish ancestry. Jhene spent most of her early years in Ladera Heights, California. Her two siblings are Miyoko and Miyagi.
Between 2005 and 2008, she dated the well-known American singer O’Ryan for three years. They are parents to a daughter named Namiko Love.
