Chrissy Rouse was involved in an accident during the third race of the penultimate round weekend at Donington Park and suffered "a significant head injury."
As the field was turning for the start of Race 3's first lap, Rouse—who was nearing the conclusion of his first full BSB season with Crowe Performance—fell hard at the last Goddards bend. Medical personnel attended to Rouse on the site as marshals promptly deployed a red flag, stabilising him in preparation for transport to Nottingham's Queens Medical Center/University Hospital for treatment.
Although the incident itself was not captured on camera and was not shown on the live feed, MSV has confirmed in a statement that Rouse is receiving treatment for a major head injury.
