Attacks in Saskatchewan: Myles Sanderson, a fugitive, is apprehended



Myles Sanderson is one of two suspects in a series of knife attacks that occurred in the James Smith Cree Nation and in the village of Weldon, Saskatchewan on September 4, 2022.

Murder suspect Myles Sanderson was located and taken into police custody near Rosthern at approximately 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after a multi-day, provincewide manhunt.

Myles Sanderson, the suspect in a stabb!ng spree that left 10 people de@d in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, was taken into custody Wednesday, police said. 

Myles Sanderson was located and taken into police custody near Rosthern, SK at approximately 3:30 p.m. today.

Sanderson is facing three counts of first-degree m*rderone count of attempted murder and one count of break-and-enter.

Shortly before Sanderson was apprehended, a person who was reported to be armed with a kn!fe was sighted in the town of Wakaw and in the city of Prince Albert, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said. 

Wakaw is about 40 miles south of Prince Albert. Both are in Saskatchewan.
