The Fayetteville Police Department has released dash camera footage of Baker Mayfield’s arrest, showing how he was tackled by officers when he tried to run.

Mayfield was charged with four misdemeanors: public intoxication, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and fleeing. He was released from jail at 11:23 a.m. on a bond of $1,500. Three days after his arrest, Mayfield posted a lengthy apology on Twitter
Mayfield, a senior from Austin, Texas, has started 26 games for the Sooners the past two seasons and thrown for 76 touchdowns.
He was named a Heisman Trophy finalist last season as he led Oklahoma to its second consecutive Big 12 title.Oklahoma’s spring practice is scheduled to begin March 21.
